Our sector support offer provides comprehensive tools and resources, to support local and combined authorities in delivering critical services to communities, while helping to drive local priorities and improvement across all regions.

This offer includes our sector support programme , funded by the UK Government, which each year provides councillors and officers with access to a range of learning and development opportunities and tools and resources across key areas including governance and assurance, finance, workforce, devolution and LGR, research and data and transformation.

Our regional teams and peers continue to provide highly valued and expert support, including access to mentoring, top team development sessions and wider bespoke support and advice.

Our strengthened corporate peer challenge programme remains a cornerstone of this offer, with 100 per cent of councils receiving this support saying it had a positive impact for their authority.
